MorningStar33: Correct, but I'm talking about rumors like in these posts:

It sounds insane to me that GOG turned into one of "those" companies, but these are crazy times we're living in and I don't know what to believe anymore. I mean even in this topic there is a user practically saying not just that it's true, but that it is justified.

RoboPond: Firstly you said it yourself its just rumours.

Secondly neither of them give any proof that accounts where even deleted, let alone due to a dispute.

Thirdly,

First link takes you to a highlighted post about not receiving a reply, it should be well known that since COVID GOG support has been overwhelmed, numerous sales and Cyberpunk has added to that so waiting a week such as that post says in your first link is no time at all. Even when they are not as I said a week is no time at all, certainly not long enough just to say right I've had no reply so i'm going to open a dispute, which is what they did.

Second link is just someone online saying it could. I could say GOG are going to release NOLF tomorrow. Does that make it true no.

Personally I wouldn't worry about it.
how does this covid gog support is overwhelmed?
covid is nearly one year long by now , they are just understaffed

Because they most likely have to work from home. COVID has caused an issue for support staff for most companies.

Plus they are understaffed, that is a running issue with GOG. They are understaffed on most aspects the forum to name another.

Orkhepaj: so all the seller has to do say payment is in progress?:D
That's why there is the 20 day limit.

Have you tried working from home. Kids, pets, net issues, etc. All can be very unreliable when you are used to working in a office.

And its not that simple. I don't know how GOG's support works but normally you need access to internal systems such as to receive tickets etc. So it also depends on how they set that up (which knowing GOG from a customer point, I'm willing to bet is not that great.)
