I need help. I have had a memory of some game that I don't know if it even existed or I simply had a dream of when I was a kid. It probably would have been released in the mid to late 90s. A World War 2 FPS game set in France with 2D sprites of soldiers in a 3D environment. Something unique about it I remember was the environments were rather large and you had the ability to go to a tactical map screen of the battlefield where you could see all your units moving around as little icons and then choose one and take control of it. Were there any games that sound something like this? I didn't own the game, it was only a demo in my memory.
For over a decade I have wondered it this was real or not....
