i notice its not on sale for summer discounts, so i was just curious how often its on sale, as its a bit pricey for its age

I would advise against buying The Swapper on GOG. It seems to be the only store that does not provide the Mac OS and Linux builds in addition to the Windows one.

You can buy DRM-free archives for all three OSes from the developers website: https://facepalmgames.com/the-swapper/

i think they link to humble bundle on that official website. maybe thats an option although i only use windows regardless so its not a dealbreaker, but still, another release lackin' full support on gog

i think i might actual lee have teh humble version already, somewhere

if so thats all i need, right? or is gogs (windows-only version) more up to date?
