the DX forum is pretty dead so i thought i’d try here. whenever i approach a medbot to install an augment it lists the available augments i have to install but the “install” button is left greyed out; i have no clue what’s going on. i was able to install augs for torso and lungs but after that this problem began occurring. here is an image of the screen i get

Sorry I can't help with the matter at hand, but yes, you need a minimum amount of Reputation (a nonsense mechanic on these forums) to post links. There's a way to get around that which I don't remember, but you might also be able to post the link without www at the start, or break it up in between so it doesn't get recognized as a link.
Alternatively, you can attach an image to your post - actually not sure whether that has a min rep requirement, disregard if it does.

Are you using any mod with the GOG version? I understand the GOG version nowadays comes with a Revision mod, not sure if it needs to be installed separately or if it gets installed right away. EDIT: The revision mod is offered as free DLC, so I presume it is installed separately.

Anyway, I installed the vanilla GOTY version earlier (a couple of months ago I think) but it had technical issues with graphics etc., so I installed the GMDX mod as it was praised as the best mod for the game at the time. At least with it I haven't had issues installing augmentations, but then maybe I am not that far in the game.

EDIT: I am currently meeting with the "mole people" living underground, and besides the three default augmentations, I have three other augmentations:

Arms: Microfibral Muscle
Torso: Environmental Resistance
Legs: Speed Enhancement

Some of my augmentations have been upgraded a couple of times.

What augmentations do you have already installed, and which are you trying to install? I have no idea if there are some restrictions what augmentations can be installed with existing ones, maybe some Deus Ex veteran knows.
