No, not a Tool Assisted Speedrun, but rather it appears the legendary game has been picked up for an animated series.

Now, since Final Fantasy 9 is arguably the best of the series, my interest is piqued. There are some mysteries abound, such as the French studio (if I've got the right listing here) whose projects I've heard none of.

What are your thoughts? Maybe someone from that side of the ocean can tell me something?

Would love to see a solid adaptation, but I fear no matter who makes it the animation style and quality and the characterisation (mainly through voice acting) will feel very off.
Still, I'll keep an open eye and ear for it as IX was the pinnacle for me.
