Why it wouldn't make much sense? They do giveaway games that are already on GOG - that is pretty normal! I won't be surprised if its the original. They usually mention the versions with the announcements

The big release was Breath of Fire IV, but the podcast was recorded before GOG changed the release date to an earlier one.
