I want to buy Heroes of Might and Magic 3 for a friend, but gifting has not been enabled on my account yet(but apparently it will be on Feb. 25, though...after the sale ends... :( ).

I wish to know if will I be able to buy the game as a gift if I add money on my GOG account wallet.

As per I cannot buy a game as a gift, why?
As stated in checkout, in order to gift games, you need to have purchases, worth at least $10 / €9.19 / £6.69 / A$13.99 / 719.00 RUB / 55 DKK / 70 NOK / 65 SEK / 30 PLN / C$ 10 / 10 CHF, made at least 3 months ago.
So it sounds like wallet funds will be limited the same as any other payment method. However GOG goes on to say
Unfortunately we are unable to lift this limitation, but in some cases we might be able to help manually. Please contact us via the support form for more information.
