Just played the Ogers, and man do I hate Snotlings. I can't believe how many of my 3-dice blocks had no pow.
My last lvl 2 Pestigor died and the others showed again that they are worthless. BUT I have a lvl 4 Rotter now, go figure.
2-1 for the ogers in the end.
About time that the mighty Ogres bring a win home again, using both brute force and plays that would make wood elves and skaven jealous the Nurgle team was defeated.

Ogres: we sting like gorillas with brick fists and float like butterflies, sort of.

Replay attached, need to be renamed to .db

We haven't even been in contact.

Personally, I'm having a really rough spell both physically and mentally. So given that I'm gonna roll a new team next season, I'm probably going to concede this week.

That would be a shame, but if life gets in the way....
The MooMooCows faced the Misfits tonight and the Misfits won 3-1.

Seriously, I didn't think my team could win this one. I'm still not over the fact that my did win. And that everybody is alive and well. (Yes, I used the Apo on my Troll again and then one of my Blitzrats got an injury with -1 AV, BUT I had a second Apo! Hah!)
Most of my turnovers were due to my team not wanting to dodge. I guess they used up all their dodge energy in the match against the Ogres. Hopefully it will come back. Soon.
I bit info for 1st seasons players

If you decide to mothball the old team and join in the second season with new team - you may join again in the league with the old team if you so decide, if you do not play with it elsewhere in the mean time.

So as an example, i am going to retire the Ale House Elves, but if i so decide, i could play with them again in the third season and retire the vampires instead.

Somehow I get the feeling that this will be a real possibility for you...

i highly doubt it. If i get bored/frustrated with the vamps - ill most likely aim for some elfy/dodgy/speedy team. maybe. Eventually ill be making that vanilla chaos team, but i am in no hurry for that.

Also i have have that weird feeling i want to try khorne demons, despite they suck str-wise for bashy team.

To bump this thread a little, I post a funny picture I found:

SEASON 2 STARTS HERE!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome everybody!
This is our thread for everything!
Report the result of your match, tell us about funny things that happened, ask questions about Blood Bowl, and just be part of the league.

Here is some information about Season 2:
There are four admins:
Iivaril (our wonderful league owner)
Rodzaju (season 1 champ)
Zeta (new addition from the US)
and me! :-D

We have 28 coaches in the league which results in 2 divisions with 14 players each.
Each division has 4 experienced teams and 10 new teams.
This means that the new teams will have far more games against other new teams than against experienced teams.
And it also means that we have a quite lengthy season (actually the same length as season 1) which allows the new teams to catch up with the experienced teams, and it also makes missing a game or two less damaging.

The teams were allotted by use of random.org right and you can find the contact information of all coaches in the first post of this thread.

Please keep in mind that we have players from many different time zones, so contact your opponent as fast as possible to arrange a match as finding a convenient time might not always be easy.

UPDATE:

We'll most likely open the league a little early to give you all some extra days to complete the first match day. This doesn't change the fact that the first match day ends on July 3rd! If we all finish our matches before that we get some extra days to complete the next match day and so on.

The seeding is done, but because my wife is threatening to throw my computer through the window (its damn late), it will be posted tomorrow. sorry for the inconvenience...

ps
we got pretty interesting random.org seedings...
The teams are all in the correct divisions in game.
The full match calendar is there.
We still have a few things to sort out, but we are on schedule to kick off 25th June as planned.

Feel free to take a look at your opponents & quiver in fear / plan your inducements / gloat etc....

Watch similar match-ups on youtube or use the spectator mode.
Or you might even contact your opponent to arrange your match date.
