I am trying to install GOG Galaxy but it is trying to install it onto F drive. I do not have a F drive. Is there a way to change the install to Another drive. I do not see a option to change where it is installed.

Are you referring to the initial installation of the client? Or are you asking how to change the default path games should be installed to?

If it's the former, you should be able to set this path after clicking on install. In the letter case you should be able to set the directory clicking on Settings. There you should be able to set a default game installation directory and, in case you also wish to download extras and game files, you should be able to set directories those files should be downloaded to.

In case you can't change any of it, run the client as administrator, then set the settings.

I have disconnected the F drive which is a DVD drive and tried reinstalling GOG and have attached 2 pic's of the install, hopefully they can help figure out why I can't install GOG.

Is it a Diablo+Galaxy installer? In that case I suggest:

If you want Galaxy, try the standalone installer from https://www.gog.com/galaxy

If you just want the game, go back to your account, ignore the big blue button and download the installer from below it ('offline backup game installers').

I can't guarantee this will produce different results, but at least it'll simplify what's going on.

This solution seems to fix this problem. If this doesn't solve it, all you can do is open a support ticket.

The quick process is to message one of the blues or, if you contacted support before, send them an email and ask for help.

The page you linked to is about uninstalling Galaxy. The solution was already provided by VanishedOne, in the post above you.

Yes and no. It is about uninstalling remnants of an old Galaxy installation or the game in question. As I understand, when there are remnants, using the appwiz.cpl, should remove the entrie(s) from the OS and allow OP to perform a fresh install of the client, the game or possibly both. Looking at OP's attached screenshots, that's what seems to be the problem, and this is a proposed fix both here as well as on MS's official support forums.

Thats the reason I think that both VanishedOne's or my proposed solution could solve dollhobs' problem. We will know once dollhobs gets back to us.

Edit: I should add that neither VanishedOne nor I claim that ours is going to work. And I can only speak for me when I say that my proposed solution has worked for other members facing this problem.

I have tried both the stand alone gog galaxy and the diablo+hellfire installer and have the same issue with both. I used the appwiz.cpl and it shows my d2 and diablo resurrected & diablo Immortal but no Diablo installed. So not installed and this goes for GOG Galaxy. I downloaded the offline Diablo just now and will see if this works, if not I will go through support. I really appreciate everyone's help in trying to solve my issue. MANY THANKS TOO ALL.

I installed the offline Diablo from gog and it worked. I then retried the gog galaxy installer and it worked,I now have access to my gog games
Thanks again to all.
