If you would like to purchase 'Nuclear Throne', I would recommend it, because it's a great game. However, I simply cannot recommend getting the GOG version because it's not updated in line with other platforms.

This game released on December 5th, 2015, in concordance with Update #96. Since then, two updates have come out ( and [url=http://steamcommunity.com/games/nuclearthrone/announcements/detail/870689050348007756]#98), but the GOG version has yet to receive a single patch, still sitting at version 'gog-1' in the Galaxy backup menu.

It seems as if the developers are completely neglecting their GOG distribution, and it makes me wonder if this note on the game's store page here at GOG...
"PLEASE NOTE: Daily and Weekly challenges are NOT available in the current version of the game but will be added in the future."
...is actually true. On the game's official website, GOG isn't even listed listed or linked under the vendors (only Steam and Humble Store links are provided). This neglect is also consistent with Vlambeer's handling of their previous GOG release of Luftrausers, which has not received a patch to its latest version, either.

I'm a big fan of both GOG and Vlambeer. Sadly, however, I can't say that the two have mixed well.
Someone dig up a picture of a bear with a flame thrower, please.

Thanks for letting us know.
The recommended place for such posts, so they do not get lost, is here. Already posted a link to your thread there.
When I noticed the thread name, I did my very best effort, but all I could think about was "What the heck is a "Vlambeer?"

Anyway, thanks for letting us know. The gridlock is probably on the developer's end, but who knows.

That should read "However, I simply cannot recommend buying Vlambeer games, because they don't care about their paying customers."

The same developer who can't be bothered to fix this problem with their other game Luftrausers? I'm shocked. /sarcasm

Edit: Missed that you already linked that in your post. Though according to the post in my link, the there is no version difference between the gog and Steam versions of Luftrausers as we found out last year, but they both still have that bug as far as I know.

Gog should demand the same updates as Steam in the contracts, otherwise so much for the curated store..

EDIT: wishlist here

Done.
The same issue is with Hammerwatch from Crackshell. Out of date for more then a year on Windows and on Linux missing half of the game.

New avatar I see, nice.
Isn't this fraud on the developer's part?

Gog or anywhere is the place to buy Vlambeer's games. He's an asshole sjw developer. Avoid anything he does.

Their games don't get updated… but by supporting them I'd be annoying gamergaters.
Damn, that's a tough choice.
