I don't know if GOG has suddenly taken a real liking to me but I seem to be receiving an increased amount of promotional emails.

Am I alone or is a new trend?

Gog is doing many more sales as of late. As a result we all get the "gift" of more sales emails. I hope this clears up any confusion you might've had on the matter. :)
