It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Not a option in personal setting section, but GOG basically provided the option.
As long as you expand one of the game in your Library, GOG remember it and you will always see those "OFFLINE BACKUP GAME INSTALLERS".

Maybe it is browser-dependent?
I am using Google Chrome 68.0.3440.15.

Firefox here.

That leaves what? IE? HAHAHAHA! Seriously Tauto, what browser are you using?
GOG repo is still good, while we wait. It can download individual games, but it can also download all of them if you have a big enough backup drive.
They will only listen if you stop buying games until the GOG Galaxy bundled software has been removed.

I WILL NOT buy any more games until the 'classic installers' are made available again. PERIOD!

Commited to it? You ask. I'v waited 7 years for SKYRIM to come out DRM-FREE.

I WILL NEVER play this game until it is DRM-FREE. PERIOD!

Thanks for the Necropants. Now if you'll just look at the attached screenshot, and take a MOMENT to read, you might notice something below the big blue button in it's own special section.

Time to go shopping, yay!
I haven't logged in on GOG for a while and the big thing I noticed is the classic installers seem to come in two parts now, the first one being a 1MB file. That makes me suspicious, obviously as that's about the size of what the Galaxy installer is, and "Part 1" just asks for the second part. If I wanted to make backups, should I just use Part 2 in every circumstance?

It's been like this for ages, and you should get all parts.

It has been like this for ages, it has nothing to do with Galaxy, and you should get all the parts.

(I've just answered and my post disappeared moments after posting...)

Large games usually come in multiple parts, with the first part being the "installer initializer" or something (only theorizing here). In the attached image, you will find a huge "DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL NOW" blue button; that's a Galaxy downloader which is pre-scripted to also download and install the game you requested. Below it is a section called "DOWNLOAD OFFLINE BACKUP GAME INSTALLERS" which is the classic installer and has no traces of Galaxy. You need to download all Parts, including Part 1, to actually use the classic installers. With Tropico 4 (in the attached image), you can't just install it with Parts 2 and 3 only.
