GOG did contact Selaco developer, it seems there will be no release here, at least not until Steam release.
I don't know what to think, this thread is not needed anymore I guess.

GOG RELEASE UPDATE: After 2 months and a re-submission, GOG finally decided to reach out to us! Without going into details [omitted from the text], we disagree with their requirements to get our game on their platform and have decided to not release Selaco on GOG. At least for now. The following was required to get our game on their platform:
1. A playable build for evaluation. This alone is completely out of question. We should not have to send playable builds in order for our game to arrive on their platform. Not only would that be disrespectful towards our backers, it is also unnecessary as there is plenty of Selaco related content to find online to confirm that it's a real game. What is the point of this?
2. Be more specific about our launch and its future plans (Early Access, DLC etc). Which, also, should not matter. If Steam does not ask these questions, we see no reason for GOG to ask that. We have not yet began to discuss any expansion packs / DLC internally because our main focus is to release an awesome base game.
With the lack of proper communication and professionalism, we decided to move on and focus entirely on a Steam release; where Selaco will remain DRM-free and can be played without running the Steam client in the background.
We hope that you understand our decision to not pull through. For questions, feel free to DM one of the Moderators or ask in
#selaco-lounge."
