Considering their current (alleged) financial problems, which era of SEGA do you think GOG represents right now and how could have SEGA turned it around back then? Ex: Dreamcast SEGA, SG-1000 SEGA, Sega-CD SEGA, etc.

Why would i speculate ? i have no idea what's going in the background at GOG and what is true of the "alleged" problems. It's not my job to solve their issues when i as a customer knows next to nothing of the actual financial issues they are facing

I need officially confirmed and proven facts first, how many employees have they hired as opposed to fired, how much money have GOG invested in a hundred different ways, how did the aftermath of the social media controversies affect sales over the next months compared to before, how much money did fair price package really hit them with and the list goes on....

My cat's breath smells like cat food.
I thought this was about why GOG can't get SEGA games here since SEGA publishes Total War games and Warhammer 40k Dawn of War.

I am currently playing Rome: Total War, and I would buy it from Gog — should they offer it DRM-free — in a heartbeat.

I would love to get Total War: Shogun. If that were available on gog, I would not have to even think about buying it, it would be an insta-buy.

I'm pretty sure that's Kega, not Sega.
Sega had inferior products to Nintendo. There is nothing they could have done to turn around their downfall, other than having better products than Nintendo, which they didn't.

There's no way to relate that to GOG. It's comparing apples & oranges.

I think GOG would easily beat the crap out of Sega in a true no-holds-barred fistfight where kicking to the groins and biting ass was allowed. Sega would be crying boohoohoo in the locker room afterwards because it lost the fight so easily.

Everyone in those "how to save GOG" threads needs to repeat this as a mantra 108 times.

It's the other way around, GOG should think hard on how to expand the customer base while keeping their old customers happy.
