There's something I've been wondering for a while: is the ability to download a game regionally locked (and tied to the region in which you bought said game)?

Well, but the thing is, I'll be in Russia when I hypothetically buy all those games. That's how regional pricing works, right? You buy this on the internet from this particular part of the world, you pay as much; you buy the same from another different part of the world, you pay a fraction of that price. It's got everything to do with your location at the time of the purchase, is it not? Where does it say anything about your future whereabouts? (I'm legitimately asking as I don't know for sure). Are you telling me you'll pay the difference if you ever move to a different region?

Starmaker was talking about faking being in that location. As long as you are there for real, everything is fine and you can buy them and normally download them later on.

You used a smiley. Yes, if you're actually physically in Russia at some point, enjoy your cheap games and remember to never say "expat".

Oh, alright then. Yeah, I used the smiley because I'm not really planning a trip to Russia, and if I did, the main reason wouldn't be to buy cheap games. But I cannot help imagining me going online there, logging into my GOG account, and instantly go berserk and buy half of GOG's catalogue. :D
