idbeholdME: GTA 2 was peak.
III - San Andreas was fine, liked Vice City probably the most.
Absolutely zero interest in IV and on.
They dropped the arcadiness and went for realism. Don't give a damn about the current political situation or whatever, it's just the focus of the games I no longer care about.
Interesting... Oldie GTAs had this arcady feel that San Andreas onward lost, yes.
Never thought about it that way. Had a lot of fun with Vice City, Vice City Stories, San Andreas and a bit of IV.
IV is really good, but yeah, completely different game when compared to 3 and Vice City.
It seems VI is gonna be more arcady and crazy with this slow more realistic feel added to it as if it was a 90's romance movie through the perspective of a criminal couple or something it seems to me.
People will still hype it to the end anyway. Specially streamers.
Masses will go with them too, so our opinion doesn't really matter in the end here.
