I play around with my smartphone all day, I google names, hack into accounts and read strangers' e-mails, then I find out where they live, sneak into their apartments and go through their possessions. But, hey, I'm not the bad guy here, out there there's something much worse than me and I'm just trying to help.

Close enough for me too! I love those games.

Here's another: I wish the storm would let up; it makes this new house feel so creepy.
I thought someone would be here to meet me when I arrived, but I guess I was wrong.

Excellent guess - and actually I am playing Scratches now on Steam. But I'm still in the morning, and there is no storm, and I don't think I was expecting anyone there to meet me. So, close but no cigar! It certainly matches with the new house. But I have another game in mind.

No one met me at the airport because my flight back from Europe was a last-minute booking.
