but also I like tao feng. I think it's interesting because it was kind of interesting to see Mortal Kombat succeed many years later by utilizing many of the ideas that Tao Feng was bringing back then. the super hot girl fighters, the deeper character interactions between fighters during and around fights. the damage texturing (wasn't a fan of this personally and wished I could turn it off. nothing enjoyable for me about seeing mileena's thigh ripped apart while I'm trying to gawk at her butt). the elaborate interactive environment options (this came in Injustice but from that you could see it was on their minds. it was also in previous Mortal Kombat games but in a much simpler style. so it was there.)

Yeah, the game was definitely underappreciated when it came out. It plays more like a game from the PS2/Xbox/GC era, but it's really well done.

I wish we could get Arc publishing here, because while Overture is cool, they've got a lot of really, really good fighting games on the way in the coming months.
