Is this one of those "programming games" where you act as a programmer or hacker, doing fake programming jobs? A bit like Human Resource Machine and such?
I dunno, I kinda want to stay away from such games, reason being that it is so close to what I am doing for living (e.g. right at the moment I am trying to learn a new (to me) programming language as I need that at my new job, and also learning a new system in order to administer it). It would just seem odd to me to "waste" time trying to learn some fake system or fake programming language in a game, when I could use that time to learn some real programming language, like the one I use at work, or others I might need later at my work.
It is a bit like a guitarist I knew, who was kinda disappointed with all those "Guitar Hero" and such games that teach you fake guitar playing. He would have rather seen guitar playing games that would teach you play a real guitar, for reals. I now kinda know what he means.
Or. I guess real-life pilots don't care much for flight simulations, or professional racers for racing games...
As for this free offer, I presume it is just a base game? So the DLC expansions still need moneys? EDIT: Ok so there is basically only one gaming content DLC available for the game, and yes this offer is only for the base game. Free is always free, even if it doesn't include all the additional stuff.
