lubwak: Christmas Eve is very important in Poland. This company is shunning all of which ade people want to support it - they initially boasted how they will stand by their own rules, not give in to pressure etc and they are literally making themselves the literal opposite. I am annoyed, because I have prooted the company over the years over different social media, friends and strangers, and I have supported it in a variety of ways only for it to do 180* a while ago and getting worse in that direction. I just cannot...

I don't remember myself opting to support GOG because of their Christian beliefs. I support them for their non-DRM policy and for their catalogue of old games that I so much love.
That said, Christmas nowadays is a ubiquitous enough holiday from a consumeristic point of view (i.e. it's celebrated pretty much everywhere) and has all but lost its original religious meaning, so avoiding the term for the sake of DEI is indeed goofy (for lack of a better term that wouldn't get my comment deleted in an instant). But what about DEI isn't goofy?
