Lego Pirates of the Caribbean has been crashing on my computer...I can't even get to the first save point and have to start from scratch.

I looked up support and one of the suggestions was to move it from the program files folder so I did so...

Now GOG connect can't find it and only tries to install it into the program files folder even though I changed the installation folder to gog games....

I'd appreciate some advice...

My specs...

-PC: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz, 16GB DDR3 Ram, GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB,2 TB hard drive, 500 GB hard drive, Supermulti DVD Burner, Wireless Lan 802.11 b/g/n, Beats audio Studio Quality sound, Win 10.

One thing I can think of doing is download the offline backup game installer through your library page on your browser (ie. Edge, Chrome, Explorer, Firefox, etc.) and install through that executable to the folder of your choice. Then scan the folder manually to integrate it into your library. I'm speaking only from knowledge of using Galaxy, but if a scan fails, you CAN still play it offline.

I 'uninstalled' the game, which just removed the listing from galaxy, then imported it from the folder that data was transferred to. I don't have the time to test the game to see if it still crashes randomly or not, but I'll give it a go when I have a chance.

Never install anything to program files or program files x86, windows has UAC which will break anything installed there. Second up, gog connect is a system of linking a game from a steam account and giving a free copy for gog, I don’t see how this it at all relevant here? Do you have the game from gog?
So yes, try to install elsewhere and run, and if that doesn’t work, turn off galaxy and run the from the games exe.
