We get a lot of complains on these forums, but for once I wanted to tell a tale of a job well done. All it takes for a success story is developer interest and involvement.
Since the release of Hellish Quart on GOG, its developer has push each and every minor update not only to Galaxy, but also to offline installers. I am not a Galaxy user, so I really really appreciate the last part.
I have not felt in any way disadvantaged by having the game on GOG compared to other stores. Updates have been on time and consistent. Offline installers were always updated as well. Kudos to everyone involved.
Which shows you such a thing IS possible, but usually it depends on the devs if they want to spend their time or automate enough so they don't when publishing their games to GOG is involved.
Some simply abandon their games here, some simply don't care enough to invest time in anything besides... the hot and humid air store :P.
