Recently I am about to delete my old GOG account and play with my friend’s account. However, they requiring me to tell them the account registration date (account creation date) and it should be exact day. Now I have changed my email address before so I cannot find the welcome mail that sent by GOG.com, also I never purchased any games before so there are no recites in my mailbox. I am sorry to bother you guys, but can you help me with this? Sincerely thank you.

If you made a forum post on that account, simply look at the "Registered" date under your avatar on the left side.

Edit: Not sure "friends account" is permitted? I wouldn't go deleting your own account to use someone else's...

Well, but surely you claimed some free games?
If so, and if you did that on your first day here, you should find the date of that "purchase" under https://www.gog.com/en/account/settings/orders

Of course, if you never claimed free games, that won't work.

You are aware that that is not allowed (with the sole exception of you playing your friend's games on your friend's PC, in your friend's house)?
7 December 2019 PST

Hmmm... Only delete your own account if you never plan to use it again. Logging out to log into another account should work just fine in theory.

As for the legality of multiple games and another person's account... I'll say it's probably ignoble as well as unenforceable. If i have 1,000 games it's unlikely I'm playing any one game more than once at a time. Though I'm thinking more the Microsoft license of 'you can install on multiple machines, but only one can be running at a time' which would be ignored and ran on several systems.

This is probably on par with sharing Netflix password and wanting to watch a particular series. Or logging into your account so you can download a game and play, then not needing them to uninstall it and it being at your friend's computer.

And then with torrenting and easy access to games, yeah i wouldn't worry about it. Though i wouldn't advertise it either.

Well thank you, but could you tell me how to check the exact day? As far as I can see, there’s only Dec. 2019 below my avatar. Thanks.
Hmmm I'd suggest looking at the first order receipt with the free sample games... but it says you have 0 games. So i guess that won't work...

The trick is to open someone's profile page.

Once you have done that, open your web browsers developer tools and view the page source.

Search for the string "created_date". There may be multiple entries - choose the one next to your username.

You've disabled your profile so I can't output the exact string returned, but when viewing someone else's profile, your creation date, as well as theirs is displayed.

I can only hope the requirement to supply a creation date isn't some security mechanism on GOGs part. Users with a profile page display the creation date for all to see.

I still got my email from 2011.

Look for "Welcome to GOG" in your emails or "Hi xyz, thanks for signing-up!"

That makes it all more probable that the OP still has that email :)
