As usual with Sony, they just wanted to throw the Kojima name in the conference. So they put together a teaser for a game that will be out in 2018 if they're lucky. And it's not done in the engine for the game.

"Death Stranding" is apparently just a codename/in development name. The real name of Kojima's new game is a little longer.
