It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

GOG, I can't find the the download link anywhere while browsing my "games" folder or clicking on the games. The only link is "stor page".

I bought those games expecting a DRM free installet for ease of use.
And that is why I use GOG. I have most of those games on CD but would pirate them before just because it was faster than do the CD thing.

Ok I found it but this is messed up.

There are two different feeds.

In this one: ((Cant Post Links))

This is the profile page that has "activity feed", "profile" , "games" and "friends".

But if you click on my name on at the top and then click on games and then hover over each individual title a small arrow appears which you can click. This is really a bit of a dark pattern design guys. You're hiding the download links on purpose. But ok.

https://www.gog.com/account. Under there you'll find your games.

Click on a game, click on the downloader.
Hit save...

If it has multiple parts, get all the parts...

Then open where they are downloaded and run the exe file. If you aren't sure, it's probably the yellow CD/circle one...

Hey Achul

Not sure if you figured out how to download, or not.

Assuming you haven't, go to your account here - https://www.gog.com/account

Click on 'View Downloads' for any of your games.

Ignore the blue 'Install For Galaxy' button. Scroll down below that, and download the normal offline installers instead.

Hope that helps. ( :

That's fine. Though i did edit my post to cross out the galaxy portion, so... *shrugs*

Regardless, hopefully that gets you your game. Still have issues downloading? We'll try to help.
Yep, follow the previous advice to get to the browser download links.

There are third party programs like Free Download Manager 5, that will help you to download your games if you want a better experience than just using your browser downloader ... especially with big downloads or many to queue.

Beyond that, you can use a Python program (gogrepo.py) if you want even more control (i.e. download all games or files for a game, etc), plus a verification option and check on updates etc.

There are other programs too, to use in place of Galaxy, including one early in development that doesn't use Python ... see the latest posts in the gogrepo.py thread for that last one.

Or if you just want to verify your browser downloads, you can check out my GOGPlus Download Checker program.
And for convenience, here are links to the helper programs that Timboli mentioned:

hey um i culdn't find any install apps besides the one that didnt work
for baldur's gate 3, are you all speaking about the 33 patches?
I would recommend JDownloader: https://jdownloader.org/home/index?s=lng_en

But I know it doesn't work with GOG download links. It's a shame, as JDownloader is by far the best download manager. It's 100% free and open source, in addition to recognizing links from numerous hosts, including YouTube itself, yes, you can download videos from YouTube with it, and if you want, you can download just the audio, just citing an example.

What's your question? (There definitely aren't 33 patches currently available for BG3 or any other game available here. :) )

Just based on the size of the game, Baldur's Gate 3 download comes in thirty-three parts. Yes you need all 33 downloaded in the same place to install the game.

Thanks for taking the time to check to see what I was speaking about, I appreciate it. I figured as much but I didn't want to start downloading all those 'patches' (not sure if they are actually patches *HunchBluntley* but the word patch is in the names of each file) to find out that it wasn't the correct thing to download, as I hardly ever use sites like this to buy games.

Thanks Again,

JDownloader isn't bad, but it is hungry on resources. Been a while since I last used it, and never for GOG downloads.

What I recommend, is Free Download Manager 5, which can be used with a browser plugin to download GOG game files (Offline Installers and Extras). I think there is now also FDM 6, but I haven't yet used that.

@ALL - What doesn't appear to be mentioned, probably because many of us don't use Galaxy, is that Galaxy can also download Offline Installers via the somewhat obscure Extras option.

TraceMagus: (…)
BG3 is a bit tricky, as it includes the "patch" word even in the full installers. It means you are going to install the "patch 7, hotfix 3" build of the game (other games might have called that 1.7.3 for example), but as long as the file name starts with "setup_" it is a part of the full game installer.

Alas, terrible file naming often rears its ugly head here for game downloads. So those seeming 'patch' files are more likely 'update' files, and not real patches.

And yes, it is onerous to have to download them via browser links, with 33 clicks at least. That is why many of us use a program that uses the GOG API, and can download all files with a simple script or even just a few clicks if you use a GUI variant.

See gogcli.exe, gogrepo.py and lgog downloader.

If you can cope with the number of clicks though, you can use something like FDM 5 to queue up the downloads.

No doubt many folk just use Galaxy to avoid all those clicks too.
