I am thinking of buying the game at last since many people are now mentioning that the game is no longer in a broken state and works well.

But I was wondering how well the game runs on Linux using Wine/Lutris.
If any kind soul can shed light on the issue it would be much appreciated.

It's a family heirloom. My great-great-great-grandfather bought it at a village fair, and when my great-great-great-grandmother saw it, she immediately foresaw it's going to be a worthless piece of trash kept by my family for generations. Damn it - shakes the ball - this thing never works.
