Here in southern Finland we've had a winter without snow, raining and temperatures around 2-5 C degrees.
Maybe a week ago it finally started to get a bit colder (-5 C or so), but still no snow. At least the weather was dry.
Yesterday we FINALLY got snow here, snow that wouldn't melt away almost instantly. Quite a lot of it came (by our standards, meaning we got maybe 1/100 of what TinyE gets every day), and since it was cold enough, it was light powdery snow which I like. Now it is -6 C outdoors, everything white with nice light fresh powdery snow.
So yeah, the winter finally came here in mid-January. About the damn time.
Roads are icy slippery now though, I saw maybe four car accidents within 10km when driving today, even a quite nasty looking one where two big trucks had slipped completely off the road and two smaller cars smashed by them apparently. Apparently drivers here forgot how to drive safely in winter because there was no snow nor ice much before... Yeah I also had to take corners extra carefully, my aging studded winter tires felt a bit unreliable on corners, it felt I might drift off the road at any point.
