Since GOG has managed to grow into THE store for DRM-free content it was just a question of "when" HB would go belly up. I'm happy for the cool indies I found through HB but the times have changed.
Whaddya expect from a company that went from glorified bargain bin to "Subscribe to receive a bunch of stuff sight unseen and maybe, MAYBE!, you'll end up with one or two games that don't suck".

Starkrun: If you want that without the psychotic owners (IGN aka SATAN) and are looking for keys and bundles and more keys and not a bunch of stupid books all the time CHECK OUT https://www.fanatical.com/

but really these guys are awesome and they have really unique collection of stuff... often times the cheapest place for a lot of games.

muddysneakers: Its all Steam keys though right? No DRM free?
Most stuff on Fanatical is NOT DRM-Free.

It's mostly keys for games on services like Steam, UPLAY (UbiSoft Connect), etc etc.

If you are curious if a game and its' DLC's are DRM-FREE on Steam, UPlay, Epic, etc etc - as usual, you'd have to do the homework and all, checking GOG Forums here & all that stuff on PC Gaming Wiki's for certain games or sections on DRM.

Wow, I'm curious what the 33 games are that are DRM-FREE.
But, I like I thought - most games on there are tied to a service.

EDIT:
Whether certain games are protected with DRM or not (and, BTW, most are on service-stores) - well, again, that's another story entirely.

I haven't been able to find any games actually, most of it ebooks.

That's a bit misleading, since a large numbers of games on Steam are in fact DRM-free, and the same is also true of GOG.

Would certainly be interesting to learn how many of those titles are DRM-free. As we can see, ~95% of the catalogue is Steam-related, whereas GOG sits a little over 0.3%

There are certainly thousands of DRM-free games on Steam (here is a very partial list: https://steam.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_DRM-free_games), but how many thousands is hard to say. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's significantly more than 50%.

I am fairly certain that the majority of games that are DRM-free on GOG are also DRM-free on Steam, plus there are loads of small indie games on Steam that are not on GOG and most of them are probably DRM-free too.

HB supplies DRM free versions if the dev supplies them. If you go to your "library" it will show you. I even have some games that don't support any launcher at all. Very weird this day & age.
When did they get taken over by IGN.. Well thats it for me. They were some times useful for their bundles but now? No thanks.Spreading the word to friends not to support the bastards anymore

IGN bought Humble out in Oct. 2017:
https://www.polygon.com/2017/10/13/16473542/ign-buys-humble-bundle
I had a small few bundles via HB.

* Humble Voxatron Debut
* Humble Indie Bundle X
* Humble NEOGEO 25th Anniversary Bundle

and all of their free giveaways from 2010 til recently. I also had a gifted copy of Skullgirls which came with the DRM-FREE version that is no longer available for purchase. Though it's no longer updated, I love this version of the game and it's easy to setup for local events and allows hot switching of gamepads on the fly.

I bought a few games direct as gifts for family and friends over the years.

I had a good time but I tapped out and deleted my account after all of this and other stuff. Over the years they would pull games or parts of games from their service with no warning. Games like Anodyne and Skullgirls lost their binaries or DRM-FREE status with no heads up.

All of my games are backed up. I gave away my Steam keys years ago.

Pretty sure I got the DRM-Free version of "Skullgirls" a while back there too. Is that not being sold there anymore or in general? Shame if that's the case.
