sort of.
i play sierra games on a sunday now [and for a long, long time, my modus operandi was to upload once a week and that was my upload. i'd do a sierra game slowly.]
as i moved to uploading more [and more often], i decided that i wanted to KEEP the sierra stuff to once a week. there's a couple of reasons for this, but most of it boils down to being a little selfish. i don't want to just blast through the sierra games all in one big go. for my own, personal reasons, i want to keep playing those games for as long as i can. [we're at the tipping point of "canon sierra" for what it's worth. eg: i'm at the halfway point where i'm hitting the end of those games.]
moreover, i don't want to clutter the forum and start a new thread every time i start a new game. i feel that would be...unpleasant in practice. so i stick to this little part of gog and make a note of what i'm playing so people who want to receive updates here can get them from here and not have to leave the forum itself.
the misnomer is really sort of unfortunate and unintended. i just didn't think i'd ever play anything other than sierra games for the internet.
so, short of moderator intervention, i can't change the thread title and while you're right and while this is "false", the sierra games are - really - some of my favourites. and i'm glad to keep playing them.
