I saw the recent D&D releases and this article poped-up in my mind:

http://www.pcgamer.com/how-gog-rescued-13-forgotten-realms-games-from-licensing-hell/

which incredibly interesting for reading.

Can you tell us more stories like this - both successful and unsuccessful ?
Yes, even unsuccessful - at least we will know what games have no chance to see here.
If possible with creators comments if possible and so on (moreover I think with such things you'll achieve better media coverage).

Even it can be a compilation of stories if there's not so much material.
Very interesting. Thanks for posting this.

I would also like more history on how some of these games made it to GOG.
Well they were going to tell how 'MX vs ATV' got here but it involved some underage girls, several sheep, and possible genocide, so they decided to keep quiet.

Well, the unsuccessful ones would be most interesting to know about. I note that they use "Good Old Games" as the name, I thought that had been left in the past and it was now GOG only? Also, lets not forget, these guys are doin gthis because there is money to be made - a lot judging by the price increases over the last year. So lets not get all misty eyed for the knights in white armor striding in to defeat the big bad IP bin.
I just read the fast company article the other day. It's quite good.
