What movies/series did you finish in 2020.

That should be here too right? Searching does not seem to bring up any such a post

am i doin something wrong here? Working from a wrong standpoint maybe?
I don't think such a thread exist so here is my answer:

Twin Peaks and Miami Vice

Two seasons of the old TP. and all five seasons of MV. Both shows are outstanding and two of my favourite tv-shows of all time.

Bad choice of thread title. Maybe one of the moderators can adjust it so it's more indicative of what you're hoping people to reply with.

As to what I've finished...

The first season of Drawn Together. Most may remember it from a number of years ago - an animated series that parodied reality television programs. I initially wrote it off as garbage but going back to it, it's actually more clever than I gave it credit for.

I re-watched Batman & Mr. Freeze: Sub-Zero. Still a pretty great film, even though as I watched it I got into playing the mental death game - where every time I recognized a voice, I immediately went "yep, sadly dead". I tend to do the latter with a lot of films I watch that aren't too current.

I saw City Slickers for the first time recently. Years ago, when VHS was still a major thing, I saw its sequel and always hated that I had no frame of reference for some of the jokes/etc. in it. Flash forward to now and I can finally close the book on that one.

i might i might @TheMonkofDestiny suggestion is already walking through my head to rename the post

Might as well share one of my finished seasons from this year i did certainly enjoy namely

The Robinsons in Lost in Space

A big family pro like the old days, nowhere near the cheesyness of family ties but certainly enjoyable. The story line is in accordance with what you would expect nowadays, with many surprises and cliche situations the standard characters all done quite original. In a way this remind me of a detective novel series i just read the first free part with as main a former navy CI who's woman clearly holds the pants in the household, calling him several times a day ,,,, anyways drifting off here.

First 2 seasons big recommendation

Season 3 of Westworld, which just concluded with its eighth and final episode last Sunday.

The weakest out of the 3 seasons so far, but that's just how it is with every series as it goes on. Still a decent watch with this season relocating the plot out of the park into the city (and surroundings) while spinning a linear (as opposed to season 1 and 2's frequent time jumps) and somewhat uninspired yarn with bits and pieces from all the classics like Blade Runner, Terminator, 1984/Brave New World/Brazil, etc.

I give this a recommendation if you're looking for something recent to scratch the Dystopian/Sci-Fi/Cyberpunk itch and shorten the wait until September 17th.
Inversely: I have rejected/declined to watch Jojo's Bizarre Adventure on the simple grounds that the gauntlet presented by such a show is well beyond the effort of personal investment I'm willing to take. I respect the show for the power it has, and how influential it has been on various things. It just doesn't seem like something I'd enjoy.
