Hello,
I was delighted to receive CP2077 as a gift on Christmas.
On Friday 1 January, I finally had time to try the game.
However, although I receive GOG emails like "One or more new items have just been added to your account", I do not get the 2FA email.
I checked my spam filters, formally whitelisted GOG emails, checked outlook and webmail versions, nothing avails.
I also know that other users with the same email domain @free.fr and other domains like @laposte.fr face the same issue.
Meaning I cannot launch GOG. And I cannot disable 2FA, or change account email since these actions need... 2FA code.
I opened a ticket 4 days ago, replied to automatic emails, no news from GOG. All the time I had available before going back to work has vanished.
I have not found solutions here or elsewhere via google... only to check spam filters, which I did.
The real rub is knowing that GOG is not a random platform, it is the one created by the CP2077 studio. I thought it was cool the studio got 100% of the money instead of letting 30% commission to Steam or others.
How can you mess up such a feature?
If I do not get access by 18:00 CET today, I'll request a refund and go buy it on Steam. At least the 30% commission gives me instant access to the product.
Sorry for the rant, but this is definitely a bad experience.
Cheers.
