I use both GOG and Steam. My "free game" at 30,000 XP is one I already own on steam (Dreamfall Chapters). Does anybody know of a way to request a change, or a way to turn it into a gift code, so I can swap it for something else?

Yes. If you haven't downloaded it yet then you can change it to gift code.
Contact support to do so.

as it turns out, you can't get a game code for those ones. So I'm stuck with it. Oh, well! It was free, after all! And now I have a DRM-free version.
