Heltifu: thank you. It seems that the games that I search for wasnt available. I assumed all games from GoG, espcially old games are sold on gamesplanet as well.

nightcraw1er.488: You don’t say why you would want to? You can buy gifts from here if that’s it. Otherwise keysellers are a minefield of fraud, dodgy tactics, and down value the product eg a key to a game is worthless.
Just buy what you want from here via the store, money goes to the right people, and you be assured it’s all above board.
I just had a sudden curiosity about this when I was taking a shower. And I couldnt remember seeing GOG games sold on any sites I occasionally buy games from like humblebundle, fanatical, so I ask. I mean other clients do it like Steam, origin, ubisoft so it must be profitable(?) therefore I just wonder why GoG doesnt do it

I wouldn’t imagine it being that profitable. One of the big parts of it was to get people who don’t use steam to start using it, and it probably just got out of hand since then. G2A for instance are reonowed for being shady as FCK, they will sell you some keys for any platform, of course they will get revoked pretty quick too. Humble is actually a good case in point. They had a reasonable drm free catalog many years back, but they got lured in by key selling. Now they are nothing more than the charity branch of steam. If GOG started doing keys, they would be all over shady stores in no time, people buying games for next to nothing then uploading the drm free installer everywhere or selling it on. Really isn’t a good business model, I suppose it’s better if you only have the client and drm like steam, but we really don’t need another one of those stores, even if it is already becoming that.
