micktiegs_8: Not nice for smaller devs who have to pay for it though.
I have no sympathy for them; it was their choice to waste money on DRM in the first place.
JAAHAS: Ironically, nowadays any existence of DRM on a singleplayer game means that I will only end up playing it if I can buy an used copy of it or it is re-released DRM-free. Even an official DRM-removal patch can only make me more interested to go find an used copy to buy for, in order for the publisher to sell me a new copy the DRM must be gone from the game without any extra steps required from me.
I buy games here almost exclusively now & pretty much the only way I'll get a game with DRM is if it's both *really* cheap & supports Linux (but only Steam DRM is acceptable), or if it's part of a Humble Bundle or so.
UPlay, Origin, Denuvo etc. = won't even accept for free (if any are included in a bundle they get $0 and I ignore the keys)
