Things started out so well. I downloaded Infrarecorder, and used it to make an .ISO of my Isle of the Dead CD-rom. Then I configured dos-box to use the iso as the D: drive. I install the game, and start playing. everything runs smoothly. Sound works. Music works.

This is the first time I use .iso in DOS box, and everthing just works!!

... And then I noticed that the games machete sprite had been replaced by a bamboo stick.

My game is the censored version!! :'-(

I own that game on disk in the box and it is definitely NOT censored. If you can't find it elsewhere, I'll install and upload it somewhere for you. Let me know.

Are you sure it wasn't a rattan stick? Both machetes and rattan sticks are common weapons in Philippine martial arts like kali/arnis/escrima. Rattan sticks are still very deadly weapons, cracking skulls and breaking bones like there was no tomorrow. if I was against an equally skilled fighter, I'd rather choose a rattan stick than a machete for its speed. He can try to swing his clumsy machete at me all he wants.

Democracy; modern age equivalent of totalitarian fascism, which employees censorship regularly, mutes the expression of opinions that aren't politically correct or generally desirable and most importantly, decides for you WITHOUT YOU, what the hell you are supposed to read/watch/see/play/do.
