Unsure if it's just my internet or my installation of GOG is messed up (uninstalled and reinstalled), but Tribal Hunter's achievements also haven't unlocked for me, and I've beaten a whole playthrough of it.

Thank you for the detailed report! Oddly enough I can see the "Look At You, Snacker" achievement icon perfectly, maybe it has been fixed?

I've added the bugged achievements to the list, luckily they are broken on Steam too, so hopefully they'll fix them with some patch in the future.

Since there are other similar testimonies on the game's dedicated forum, it seems to be yet another case of an update that breaks achievements. Unless a home-made fix like the one Marko discovered is possible, it would be important to report the bug to the developers, usually fixing them should be very easy, as long as they care.

Are you sure you're not mixing it with "Look At You, Hacker", as those are 2 different chivos? xD

I knew you would say that, but no, it's really the "Snacker," as you can see in the attached image. The other two as you say are secret so we can't make comparisons. It seems impossible, but maybe it's a bug that only you see for some reason?

I am experiencing a lot of broken Achievements with the Mad Max game.

Several of the Achievements for which I've met the requirements to unlock, they will not unlock for me, including:

Fresh Air
Quench Their Thirst
(both of which I've successfully completed their requirements for several times, yet they won't unlock for me no matter how many times I repeatedly complete their requirements)
The Saint

For the Achievement called "Doing Jeet A Big Favor," it did not unlock during the first time when I successfully completed the requirements for it, but when I completed two more projects, and thus successfully completed the requirements for that Achievement a second time, then it did unlock.

And there is another GOG customer who also complained on the game forum that Galaxy Achievements are not working for him on this Mad Max game either, so it's not just me for whom these Achievements are broken, even if they do work for some GOG customers.

The Legend of Bum-Bo requires a mod to fix a bug which would otherwise make getting all the achievements impossible:

Mad Max is a strange beast, its achievements are almost all common or uncommon, I know many people who have completed it 100% without any problems, and the game has never been updated, so no bugs can be created with updates.

But it does indeed seem that some people have problems with the achievements, kind of like Wolfenstein: The New Order, which sometimes seems to give problems with no real explanation. I think it's one of those games where it's worth making a few copies of saves just in case when trying to unlock an achievement.


I know GOG's QA department leaves a lot to be desired, but it's pretty sad that it takes a mod to get a game to work properly on GOG, even though the same bug is on Steam. Anyway I'll also add this very useful report to the list, thank you!

Not sure if this is 'officially' broken or it's just obscure on how to activate it, but I purchased the soundtrack for 'Powers in the Basement' and the Supporter achievement did not unlock. I've reinstalled the game after purchase to see if that would correct it by detecting DLC on the account, but so far, nothing. If the indicator on GOG Galaxy is any indication, this does not appear to have unlocked for anybody (though it seems to be working on Steam), which I take to mean it is an across the board problem for Galaxy Client...or I'm the first to buy the soundtrack, which doesn't seem possible.

Yes, I can confirm that the achievement is broken, but the developers have been informed of the bug and are working with GOG to correct the problem, although it seems it will take longer than expected. They have said that at worst they will remove the achievement, so there is at least a plan B.

Thanks for the note! Either sounds like a good solution; heck, removing achievements that don't work sounds like something certain other, more console-based companies should get a handle on. If they can do either one, though, that shows my trust in them is well-placed.

Unfortunately, everything I reported back in December concerning achievements still stands even after 1.2 patch. :(

After seeing some Steam players report the chivos now work I got my hopes up and thought I'll finally get it out of the way since I did keep two of my saves, one before final boss fight (for 'It's Over') and one before getting all audio logs (for 'The Inside Scoop').

The game is evidently patch once the saves are loaded (media collection displays more precise and the final fight is new and better) but neither of the chivos did pop-up when I did (AGAIN!) what was requited.

At least the broken chivo images are fixed and display properly now.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth had achievements added some weeks ago and can be removed from this list. :)

I noticed it on Exophase too, but his achievements are still invisible right?

If everything works, this makes it the game on GOG with the most achievements ever!

With so many achievements, I don't know if they all are definitely working though.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Heavy Rain has achievements. I could be misremembering, but I don't think this was the case at launch. Hopefully they'll add achievements to Beyond: Two Souls as well.
