This is driving me up the wall. I vaguely remember this old RPG browser/mobile game (with lots of small details and the like) but can't remember its name for the life of me. Punching those details into Google isn't helping either. Maybe one of you remember it.

You start off in a cell on board a hostile alien ship. You escape and help what is clearly a Princess Leia knockoff escape as well (same dress and everything).

After escaping the ship, you travel around a bit, picking up party members and the like; including some kid on a practically barren world. The game introduces psychic powers around this time, I think. They're a big focus.

Eventually, you have to rescue the princess' father (an emperor) from the hostile alien force. Except at the reunion, it turns out he's brainwashed, kills her and you have to kill him in return.

Eventually, the game continues without the player character, as he's kind of traumatized from the whole ordeal.

The game also has a bit of a Chinese theme; especially with names. But I don't think the game was made in China.

I realize this is a disjointed mess, but I see flashes of it in my mind and I can't look it up because I don't remember the name.

Any suggestions?

Is it top down, side scrolling, or some other type.

Have you checked Kongregate or Newgrounds?

I think it was a turn-based RPG.
