I have a group of people most not gamers, who due to the covid19 epidemic are stuck at home. This is a boardgame group, and like I said most don't play games, except boardgames and mobile games.

I'm looking for a newb-friendly, preferably free, that we can all play together. Either on PC or tablets/phones. The only thing most in the group don't want is FPS and games that rely on quick reflexes. Also bonus points if the game is coop.

Thanks for the help and keep safe.

Maybe Antihero or The Witcher Adventure Game. Or any of the Divinity: Original Sin or the Age of Wonders games.
For The King is also a good choice but it's for just three players.

All of these are free if you don't mind using steam, from the most relevance:

Crusader Kings II

Battle for Wesnoth

Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop

Or GWENT if you exclusively use only GOG.

Probably someone else can recommend some games from GOG free game list.

Mable & The Wood also temporary free at the moment.

you guys can start playing gwent you can play on any console its a nice card game if youre interested in card games
Terraria and Stardew Valley are fun games where you can work together. They aren't free, but they are cheap and well worth the money :)
Check the web browser based games like agar.io - multiplayer and you can cooperate as well.
Battle for Wesnoth can be downloaded for free (and DRM-Free) on its own page https://wesnoth.org/
Indeed, I didn't even know it was also on steam. Very good choice, in any case.

And I didn't know there's a DRM-Free version. Thanks.
