Pookina: I'm in for myself. Can we keep this guessing game going after the giveaway, even if there's no prizes?
I'm not sure there would be too much involvement without there being a prize.

But, if there's enough interest, I might repeat it perhaps twice a year, with a prize. Or perhaps more often, if others want to donate prizes.

In for Zeogold, who should be here guessing with us. ;)
He's already aware of this giveaway, but I guess it's not his cup of tea.

-- Sorry, forgot one of the rules. Since it can't be shotgunned, I amend the above guess to:

I'm guessing he did post it in a separate post, but GOG --- being GOG --- combined the two posts into one (and called it an edit). We'll consider it valid, especially since it's not the mystery game, anyhow.

Actually I edited it - I'll openly admit that - but I did so under interpretation of rule #15 after remembering rule #11. Mainly that a guess can't be a vague shotgun attempt of "Deus Ex", "Doom" or etc. to cover all titles/entries in a series and that I'd realized that and edited in a specific title to correct the screw-up.

If that makes any sense.

I knew what I was doing.

Take the night off, blerman. The Gotham that is this thread can manage under the watchful eye of others. ;P

The problem with editing, is that in these kind of games they can lead to a "I did X first, then he edited" or "I wanted to do X, but saw he did it already, didn't know he edited it to Y later; I'd have done X otherwise." situation even with no malice on anyone's side.

Small chance of it happening, but it's the kind of thing that isn't a problem until it happens and then it's a problem. Hence it's better to stay with the no-EDIT rule.

I was just trying to be friendly and give you a chance to repost.

But sure, I can be done.

Good luck, all.
Atlantis 3: The New World is just a minute longer than Everything and below Deus Ex on Metacritic.
*smug face* huh? Huh?

Mutant Football League: Dynasty Edition
because i'd have to make my wishlist public, and too many (1/3) of the games there are just there to someday get the DRM-free version of what i have on steam, so it isn't something "new," per se. It'd be different it there was no overlap.

I get why it's there and at no point was I disputing that it shouldn't be there.

I was explaining my reasoning, given the "if you realize this guess is incorrect, you can adjust it" provision. I may have been too liberal with how I interpreted it, but it was definitely not meant to turn the thread upside-down or for me to weasel in more guesses than allowed or to guess snipe or play "I did it first!" against anyone else.

I know your intention was good and just. I was merely trying to be lighthearted about things.

Jokes, not unlike lead balloons I suppose. When I make them, at least.

Master of Orion hasn't been guessed yet, I think.
