Back then 70%+ of the country was self sufficient. Today it's closer to 8%. If the food stops coming in, it will be far worse. If food keeps moving, the rest can likely be mitigated.
GameRager: Agreed which is why I think we need to maybe keep it up at most another month......then isolate the most vulnerable from everyone else.
Heck, if we can isolate the entire country(and other countries) at home then we should be able to isolate the elderly/vulnerable. Don't think that will matter much.
There was this odd cold/flu going around where I'm at, happened in October/November, and wouldn't go away for like 2 months, especially hit all the children and all the teachers.
I think we already had it for several months. Thus i think no amount of quarantine will matter.
