I recently got a new machine, complete with an ultra-spiffy, but not very roomy, SSD. As such, I put my old computer's hard drive in, with everything that was already on it. Including a collection of classic games that don't really need the enhancements a SSD offers, anyway.

So, the question IS.... how do I tell GOG Galaxy, which is installed on the SSD because it's the "main drive", where to look for my installed games on the secondary drive?

Also, once that part is accomplished, is there a way to make sure future installs go to the same directory, since that drive's got plenty of space to work with?

Press the Gog Symbol on the top left, there is everything you need. With Scan and Import, you point Galaxy to your game folder. If some games are not imported, go to the library page of the game and choose More -> Nabage Installation -> Import folder.

In Settings, you can choose everything you want, for example the default download folder ;)

Thank you for the very swift response! 35 games just imported, and when I went to check Settings, the downloads are already pointing to the folder I selected.

One game said its updating failed, oddly, but the next few went fine; I expect this might take some time.

Okay, it looks like all DOS games say "Installation Broken" and the rest say "Installed". I see an option to repair install, so I'm thinking that's my first option. Anything else I should try, before uninstalling them and reinstalling them from scratch?

Edit: Repairing worked fine in one case, but I presently lack the time to go through all of them. Provided the rest work as easily - do I need to do anything special to close a thread, here?

No need to close the thread, this could be helpful for other users in the future.

...that, and the forum software doesn't have that feature availed to users.
