I just got a computer with windows 10 and bought my first game here an older one called Creatures Exodus. Just not sure if I am in the right spot but an error message pops up and says it needs to be in 16 but color mode. I right click on the short cut to the creatures game and changed it there but that did nothing. I’m not sure if the shortcut is linking to the game or the gog launcher or what. Thoughts?
Edit I messed around with the settings and went directly to the folder with the engine.exe now I get this error instead
The game could not be started due to a direct draw error.
Windows NT/2000 6.2 build 9200 ()
OriginalDisplay DirectX (no modules)
