Technically they arent lost - theyre landfill under the M5 motorway. Even the specific point of burial is known.

Just a little titbit on the subject.

Didn't that happen to the uncut version of The Wicker Man as well? According to Christopher Lee, anyway. Probably in the same spot.

Nothing incredible for those who already have the games. But might bring the attention of some people who never played it I guess.

I'm sure the main reason to get this for most fans are for the gameplay changes to the First Mass Effect as that is getting the most work of the 3 games.

- Adding a melee attack button (before if an enemy got too close you automatically went to melee which can hinder shotgun users)

- Removing penalties and restrictions to weapons, so all classes can use all weapons like in later games but you can't train in a weapon that was outside your class in ME1.

- Cleaner HUD

- Better controls for the Mako ground vehicle

- Controller support for all three games on PC

- Re-balancing EXP so you can hit max level in one playthrough

- Tweaks to Auto saving

- Faster Load times

- Improved AI for squad mates and enemies

So a lot of work is going into the gameplay of ME1, I'm sure the console is were this will see the most sales (especially on Playstation since it doesn't have backwards compatibility.

if it did it would have ben a few years later and in a different spot i think, but yes, quite possibly.
