You can now import your entire GOG library!

It's free. Premium (DRM free) mostly just adds Bigbox, themes, and a few other things.

There's a lot of customization that you can't do in Galaxy. (add 'sort names', downloaded Youtube trailers, etc...)
As a librarian, for me, it still doesn't replace Collectorz Game Collector.

I like the look of launchbox, and it’s nice that the base version is free. It has, unless this has changed recently, one fatal flaw for me. There is no ability to import metadata from outside, for example I had collectorz game library and that has some 15k records, there isn’t a method to get this information into launchbox (I asked some years back). Without that import/export functionality I can’t use it
They should provide some sort of csv or xml import/export mechanism, or direct access to the database backend.
It’s nice they finally added installed/not installed though, that was always another sticking point (fine for Roms but can’t have everything installed all the time, it would need 40tb or more!

I completely agree! It's also missing list import. I'd like to import my list of boxed games from collectorz to LB.

For GOG games, I copy-paste info from the GOG website into Collectorz. Launchbox can now import all GOG metadata + download the screenshots (a manual process in Collectorz).

Amazing, another third party games client.

And this one is literally for Windows only.
