Lucumo: The OP gave me no reason to care about the person though.

GameRager: Maybe, but you were probably a bit curious. ;)
Humans are curious (or at least should be) in general. But despite the base curiosity, I didn't look him up because the OP should provide the information. There are enough threads which aren't worth anything at all and if you spent your time looking up what's missing every single time...it would be a giant waste.

1. Whether a thread is worth anything or not is often subjective(with exceptions like spam, but even then some might get a chuckle from it, I suppose).

2. A few minutes/seconds searching in google is better than wasting too much time sleeping(oversleep), overeating, playing the more time wasting games, etc.

amok: "WAGRRRRWWGAHHHHWWWRRGGAWWWWWWRR."
*lol* Someone copied the #1 Chewbacca qoute from BuzzFeed's Top 10 Chewbacca quotes^^

ps. I was going to do the same since I had no idea how to write GGGWWRRHHHGG and googled it. Then I realized that I'm late to the party...

It is, I consider a lot of threads not worth anything because it's not intellectually gratifying. If we had an option to block threads from specific users, I would have used that a long time ago, to keep the thread list more clean.

That depends on what you get from playing games. Relaxation, enjoyment, knowledge, interaction with other players. Those can certainly be worth more than looking something up which may or may not be worth it.

1. You COULD block such threads, but what if a user actually posts something good/interesting and you/others miss it because of the block? Just a thought.

2. I meant actual timewaster games like shovelware on various systems designed to waste time specifically with little content(or unique/good content).

In my 2 1/2 years of being here, I certainly got to know users where that chance is well below 1% and I would take those chances every time.

Well, of course. But I guess people would use those timewasters because they have time to waste?

I personally would always wonder if I was missin g out on learning some new/good aspect of those I had hurriedly chosen to dismiss.

No one has much time to waste, if you think about it, with such short lifespans.
Sad news indeed. RIP.
