It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

You have the GOG installers (all of them from what I can tell) hard coded to open Internet Explorer instead of using my default browser. Please fix this as it is irritating as hell that I have to copy the URL, close IE, open my browser and paste the URL every.single.time.

When do the installer open any browser at all?

Also, the forums is not the place to post this. GOG devs don't browse the forums looking for issues to fix. Contact support.

I'm gonna guess he actually clicked on some of the game ads that run in a loop during the installation process (many of which are terribly outdated -- I've had fairly recently downloaded installers show ads for Duke Nukem 3D and one of the Arma games, for example).
I've always been curious what exactly would happen if I clicked on one; now I guess I know. :P

Wow... it's like living in a place since birth and still one day finding an alley next to your house that you've never visited.

yep... clicked on one that looked interesting and boom... IE opens up. Checked my other installers and same thing. it SHOULD use the default browser instead of being hard-coded... that's just bad coding.
