Ok, my wife showed me Facebook "news" that Sylvester Stallone is dead, D-E-D dead. Due to cancer or something.

But since I didn't see any such thread in GOG.com forum, I started suspecting bullshit. If it is not mentioned in GOG forum, then it is not likely true. Also imdb.com still lists him as alive and kicking.

So, fake news? Can someone confirm they have seen Sylvesteri today, alive? I still want one more Rambo movie, Rocky... not so much.

EDIT: By the way, I just remembered this, for the first two days after Steve Irwin's death was announced, I refused to believe it as true. At the time, I was in a frenzy watching all his shows. It's assholes like these that turned me in the cynical skeptic that I am.

Pro-tip: always seek independent sources. Make sure they're not the same thing, too (a lot of news organizations plagiarize others and change words or rephrase the exact same stories). Or, better yet, when a story of a death breaks out, wait a week to mourn to see if it's still going on. If you hear of a shooting, wait a few days to look up youtubers, since they'll do rundown videos on all the details, and cross reference since alot of them have bunk info, too. If there's a new scientific study, check the research papers and question the testing methods used in the study and/or experiments. Usually, info you see on the news or social media is a cocktail of truth and poison, and you will spend a long time learning what the real ratio is.
