Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is now available for pre-order. Get it 10% off until release on June 25th.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is an exploration-focused, side-scroller action RPG by Koji Igarashi. Play as Miriam, an orphan scarred by an alchemist's curse that slowly crystallizes her body. Battle through a demon-infested castle and defeat its master to save yourself, and all of humanity!
Hope this lives up to expectations!
Hahaha pre order ? sure, right that sounds like a wonderful idea doesn't it. Kickstarters are difficult to predict and japanese ones are doubly so but if it's good when it releases then i guess i can throw some money at it and you.

Achievement support?

TheGreatDustpan: Achievement support?
100% of the games published by 505 Games don't have achievements on GOG, it's not a good sign...

Any effort on getting the classic-style spinoff to go DRM-free alongside this?

Is it really that difficult to develop for GOG or are the developers just lazy? I can never quite figure it out.

No achievements, no purchase.

It's as simple as that, GOG.

No and to be fair you would have a bigger success solving GoG's curation issues by banging your head against a wall than convince Inti Creates to release Curse of the Moon drm free which they should have done if they weren't dumbf*cks since it was one of the several broken backer "promises" but Inti don't care about that.

To my experience isn't so difficult, I would bet on lazy devs. There are developers who alone implement everything and publishers with millions of dollars who don't bother to implement them. There are also some cases, such as a game developed in Java, that are not compatible with the GOG Galaxy SDK , but I don't think this is the case.

Not really an issue but the value seem poor, can't argue with that and i do like good value on the stuff i buy.

This game has so much potential but the whole anime style is just vomit inducing. Horrible art style.

My point exactly. Maybe I should have said The VALUE instead...

I'm sure there was/still is(?) but the publisher of the classic Castlevania-like spin-off ("Curse of the Moon" or something?) unfortunately is one of those deluded "We don't publish our games DRM-free, period"-type of publishers.
