Broken Sword & Cold Blood - 25 years of incredible adventures.

Revolution Software, the studio behind world-renowned adventure series Broken Sword, turned 25 this year. To celebrate this <span class="bold">"25 years? That can't be right." and "Holy crap, I'm feeling old"</span> occasion - we're putting all of their releases on a single bundle discount up to 75% off.

The story of it all started with Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars quickly becoming one of Europe's best-selling adventures game ever. It's now available in an extended, remastered edition complete with new art, new stories and new puzzles. Whether you're looking for a nostalgic return, or want to see what the fuss is about - this is the best starting point possible. Then, once you inevitably get hooked - you can continue the story with Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror in its remastered edition, then try the series' move to 3D with The Sleeping Dragon and The Angel of Death. Finally, return to the core 2D formula with Broken Sword's most recent re-entry: The Serpent's Curse.
If you've never tied it before, or if you're looking for some action do go with your adventure, this is also a great time to try out In Cold Blood, a suave spy story of a British agent on a world-tour of espionage and hard sci-fi.

Then, when you're done with adventure and espionage - become a keeper of dungeons in Guild of Dungeoneering, the silly, whimsical card-based dungeon building tale - now 30% off all the way until Tuesday, September 29.

<span class="bold">25 years of Revolution Software history</span> is here, in a single bundle at 75% off, or 60% off individually. The promo will last until Thursday, September 24, 9:59 AM GMT.
Congratulations Revolution Software, simply adore your games:)

Austrobogulator: They should have been 75% off too!
Well, you know what they say - nihil fit ex nihilo.

HG1995: I'm also tempted by Cold Blood,
Also what is Broken Sword 4 like? The reviews are very mixed
I don't own In Cold Blood. I'm temped to buy it too.

I finished Broken Sword 4 a few years ago. It's much more better than the third game, but not as good as the first two. Stealth and action sequences were almost removed. It contains some hard to solve puzzles, which are mostly based on an old of piece of paper. I found those puzzles illogical most of the times, since there weren't enough clues. I strongly recommend to use a walkthrough if you get stuck, as the solution seems to be based on trial and error and there are too many combinations to try!

It's long ago that I played In Cold Blood, but I remember that I enjoyed it very much. Only the controls were a little inaccurate. I recommend it.
Too bad that I already own every game in this promo.

Unlike other games in this promo In Cold Blood is an action-adventure. It has some stealth and fighting which aren't otherwise particularly difficult, but the controls are bit clunky. Most puzzles are relatively simple, although I did find those enjoyable enough. Best part of the game was it's story and characters. It's an old school secret agent story with some sci-fi elements.

Thanks vanchann.
I'll grab BS4

jamyskis: Wouldn't it have been apt to mention Beneath a Steel Sky and Lure of the Temptress as well?
Indeed, those are on a 80%-off promo after all.

EDIT: Well, fuck me, someone already said basically the same thing.

In Cold Blood looks quite nice. I have to admit I'm unfamiliar with it.

ElTerprise: Finally the link is fixed :)

It's a nice promo although i already own all Broken Sword games. Any opinions on In Cold Blood? I'm tempted to get it but i'm not sure.
One of only two games they made worth playing (the other being B.A.S.S.) ;D

Sounds like i should really pick it up then. Thank you :)
It's strange, the reviews for In Cold Blood are from 2009, but I've never seen this game here before today.

I think this one is the definition of a "hidden gem" - it's been here, and it's even made its way into a sale or two, but if you're anything like me you had no clue it existed, both on release and for years and years afterward ;)

They probably didn't bother because both games are available for free and aren't part of the Broken Sword series. But I agree, they should at least have mentioned them.
Great promo, I have them all but good opportunity for others to partake!

Same. I didn't know it was here till I looked at the promo.
